［教学过程］
一、语言知识精讲
1. I think I’m going to go to the party with Karen and Ann.
此句中的be going to ＋V原，表示将要发生的事或计划、打算要做的事。
（1）Ann准备干什么？What is Ann going to do?
（2）我打算在家里呆着。I’m going to stay at home.
2. If you do, the teacher won’t let you in.（＝will not）
句中的let (…) in 意为“允许进入”。let 为使役动词，后面跟动词原形。
（1）Please open the window and let in some fresh air.
（2）Could you please let me in your party? （允许参加）
let in 的反义词是let out，意为“放出……，释放，泄漏”
We should let the bird out（of the cage）.
3. Don’t wear jeans. Please bring your ID card.
这两句是祈使句的否定形式和肯定形式。祈使句用来表示请求，命令或劝告。主语you通常省略，动词为原形，否定形式为Don’t＋V原。
（1）请吃个苹果吧。Have/ Eat an apple, please.
（2）Tom，请当心。Please be careful, Tom.
（3）别迟到，Jim。Don’t be late, Jim.
4. If you do, you will be sorry.
句中的be sorry 意为“遗憾”，sorry 还可表示“难过，伤心，对不起”；e.g.:
（1）I’m sorry to hear you are ill. （难过，伤心）
（2）I’m sorry for being late. （对不起）
5. If you do, the teacher will take it away.
句中的take away 意为“拿走”，away是副词，take away是动副结构的短语，（即短语动词），如果所带的宾语是人称代词，则需要放在两句中间。
（1）The fish smells bad. Take it away, please.
（2）If you don’t use the things, take them away, please.
（3）You can’t take away books from the library.
6. What will happen if they have the party today?
句中的happen意为“发生”，是不及物动词，what是主句的主语。
（1）昨晚发生什么事了？

（2）Tom出什么事了？
What (has) happened ________Tom?
（3）我不知道下一步会发生什么事？

7. Half the class won’t come.
half 意为“一半，半”，通常放在冠词、物主代词或指示代词之前。
（1）Half the students watched the soccer game.
（2）I spent half a day reading the book.
（3）Half my students walk to school.
（4）Half of the books are old. （half of… 意为“半数的……”）
8. When is a good time to have the party?
句中的不定式to have the party 作后置定语，补充修饰time, 意为“举行聚会的最佳时间。”ex:

9. If you become a professional soccer player, you’ll never go to college. 句中的professional 是形容词，意为“专业的”。go to college 意为“上大学”。

关于make 的词组：

（10）make trouble 制造麻烦
12. You’ll be famous.
famous 意为“出名的，著名的”，其同义词为well- known。常用的词组有：
（1）be famous for… “因/以……而出名”
（2）be famous as… “作为……而出名”
ex: The city is famous ___________ its beautiful park.
Yao Ming is famous ___________ a basketball star.
13. If you become a professional athlete, you’ll be able to make a living.
doing sth. you love.
（1）be able to ＋V原 表示“有能力做某事”，与can意思相同，但can是情态动词，不能和助动词（will）连用，故本句中的be able to 不能用can 替换。
ex: Jim is able to sing well. （＝can）
Jim could swim when he was five. （＝was able to）
If you work hard, you’ll ________（能够）go to college.
（2）make a living 意为“谋生”，若表示“以……谋生”，则用make a living by doing”
The old man makes a living by growing flowers.
He had to make a living _________himself. （他靠自己谋生）
14. all the time 一直，总是
If you are famous, people will watch you all the time.
15. around the world ＝all over the world
（1）If you become rich, you can travel around the world.
（2）If you become famous, people all over the world will know you.
二、语法：条件状语从句
（一）谈论到某种情况下会有什么事情发生时，常用if（如果）引导的条件状语从句。
（二）条件状语从句及主句的时态：主句用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时，即“主将从现”。

If you __________ (drive) too fast, you may have an accident.
*if 从句在前面时，后面要用逗号与主句隔开。

*主句若含有情态动词（can, may, must），或者主句是祈使句，从句都要用一般现在时。
