Today there is an international English competition in Beijng University. The competitors come from a few countries. Some are from Japan, some are from Korea and others are from different places of our country. They are in three groups: primary school, middle school and college group.
I join the middle school group. There I meet a journalist of America. He can speak a little Chinese and I can speak a little English. So we have a talk in English. He tells me he likes China very much.
All the competitors make speech here. The boy in white T-shirt is from Japan. He comes here with his mother. He knows the competition when he reads the newspaper. He is a little nervous. I also talk with a Korea boy. His English is very good. I'm very glad to meet so many foreigners here. This means our country is very great now. I must work hard. I want to make it more and more beautiful.
