Today we are going to read about "Table manners at a dinner party". Before we deal with thepassage, let's think of the following situations. Work in groups to write down the the rules for being polite in these situations in Chinese culture

2.Read the passage quickly:

(1)According to the context, guess the meaning of the following words and phrases: table manners, napkin, damp, soft drink, starter, etc

3. [Part 3 P39] Read the text fast and decide which of the following behavior are polite or impolite at a western dinner party.

4. Language points
