VII. Homework: Debating and writing

☆ Students look back at the list in Exercise1 and divide the values into ‘material’ (e.g. having a big car) and ‘non-material’ values, e.g. (having friends). Write these in two columns on the board and elicit more suggestions of material and non-material values to add to the columns. In groups, students choose three material values and three nonmaterial values that are important for everybody. The groups then exchange ideas, justifying their decisions. Then write an article to narrate(叙述) your own choice and the reason why you do so.
